Jen drives the company's vision, strategy, and growth. As a computer scientist turned high school math teacher turned entrepreneur, Jen founded Kickboard to build the tools she wished she'd had in her own classroom. She firmly believes that schools are partners in product development and loves being part of a team that is committed to learning from our platinum teachers.

Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Brian focuses on building the Kickboard brand and user community. He thrives on collaborating with new and existing customers who are setting standards for comprehensive, sustainable school improvement leading to long-term student success. Since 1999, Brian has partnered with K-12 educators on innovative technology initiatives while at companies focused in the areas of data management and curriculum. He is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students.

Director of Customer Success

Shannon Gallagher is our School Community Manager. She works directly with school leaders and admin staff to ensure they have everything they need to support their teachers and maximize student achievement. Shannon is available daily to answer technical questions, provide account support and listen to the varying needs of our ever-growing customer base, then share these needs with the rest of the Kickboard team to drive production of new and enhanced features.

John Koch
John Koch
Chief Financial Officer

John provides financial accounting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic advice. He has over 30 years of experience in commercial banking and corporate finance from both the borrower's and lender's perspective. John provides similar services for a number of small market and early stage technology companies in the New Orleans area. He enjoys his colleagues' enthusiastic drive and vision for improving educational outcomes.

DIRECTOR OF FIELD DEVELOPMENT

Wesley helps connect Kickboard to schools across the country. He joined the team in 2011 after working in the healthcare industry for 11 years. Wesley loves working at Kickboard because he gets to work with forward thinking and data savvy school leaders and teachers on a daily basis as they strive to make a positive difference for children.

SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Jolyon does everything from server maintenance to developing new features. One fine day, a colleague tipped him off to Kickboard’s need for an enterprise application developer.  Following his love of data, Jolyon soon became a full-time member of the team. Making a difference in the education technology community is what he enjoys most about working for Kickboard.  Well, that and the data.

Director of Engineering

Christian builds software for Kickboard and adds organization and focus to our fast-paced development cycle. He was Kickboard's first full-time software engineer, joining the team after managing development for a domain name registrar. He enjoys turning teachers’ requests into awesome tools.

Stew helps get the word out about Kickboard. He joined the team after teaching high school history and geography in Washington, DC. He loves working at Kickboard because he gets to talk shop about teaching, data, and education technology.

Craig promotes design and user experience at Kickboard. He loves making complex things simple and fun to use. Craig has been focused on interactive design for the last ten years helping great non-profits and businesses expand their reach past the traditional web. He loves working at Kickboard because he gets to design products that help educators focus on what's most important: their students' success.

Saskia helps turn Kickboard users into Kickboard experts. She joined the team after teaching a middle school technology class and working at an education design lab in New Orleans. Kickboard transformed the way Saskia used data in her own classroom; now she's passionate about showing how Kickboard can empower administrators, teachers, and students alike!

School Community Manager

Edie Feinstein is the newest member of the Customer Success team. Her goal is to provide an amazing experience to each and every customer during all of their interactions with Kickboard. She spends her days working directly with school administrators and teachers to troubleshoot their technical questions, listen to their feature suggestions, and help come up with creative configurations to match their individual needs. Edie joined the team after graduating from Cornell University, and is still having a blast experiencing all of the wonderful music and food that New Orleans has to offer.

Carl provides technology strategy, organizational development and management training leadership.  He has over 30 years of experience in technology companies, including strategy, engineering and executive management, boards of directors, and venture capital investor relations.  Carl has also served in non-profit organizations with missions in education, community-building training and social justice.
